Food Service Manager

The Food Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Food Services Department, ensuring that all food handling and safety protocols are adhered to while delivering exceptional Christian hospitality. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage all dining room employees, maintain high standards of food preparation, and ensure a positive dining room experience for all guests. The Food Service Manager will play a crucial role in menu planning, inventory management, and compliance with health regulations.

This is a full-time position with benefits. One year of supervising experience is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily food service operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Develop and implement menus to meet guest preferences for both youth and adult groups visiting our facility, while adhering to budgetary constraints set by the Director.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, manage waste to optimize resource use, and maintain a purchasing budget within the limits set by the Director.
  • Manage food preparation processes, ensuring adherence with health regulations and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment.
  • Create dining room employee schedules while adhering to the budget set by the Director.
  • Supervise all dining room employees and ensure effective team collaboration.
  • Train and mentor all dining room employees on best practices in kitchen management, food handling, and hospitality.
  • Build group rapport by establishing relationships with guests, greeting guests, resolving complaints, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments as needed.

Full-Time Maintenance Person

The Maintenance Person plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of facilities. This position involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and providing excellent guest service to ensure a safe and functional environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and have experience in facilities maintenance.

This is a full time position with benefits. Must be able to work evenings, nights, and weekends as needed.

Duties:

  • Conduct routine inspections of buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on various systems including basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
  • Execute painting tasks to maintain the aesthetic quality of facilities.
  • Provide exceptional guest service by addressing guest or tenant concerns promptly.
  • Lead small teams on specific projects or during peak maintenance periods as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The Maintenance Person plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of facilities. This position involves performing a variety of maintenance and custodial tasks to ensure a functional facility. A general knowledge of building and/or vehicle maintenance is preferred.

This is a part-time position for 30-40 hours per week. Must be able to work evenings, nights, and weekends as needed.

Duties:

  • Work individually and on teams to complete specific projects as assigned.
  • Lawn Maintenance.
  • Execute painting tasks to maintain the aesthetic quality of facilities.
  • General Cleaning and trash removal.
  • Must be willing to work in all departments as needed.

Overnight Custodian/Guest Services Associate

The Overnight Associate will be responsible for various Custodial tasks, ensuring that all areas are well-maintained and consistently meet our high standards of cleanliness. This position requires attention to detail, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to facilities maintenance. Although this job is primarily an overnight position, occasional day shifts will be required.

This is a full-time position with benefits. The schedule is for overnights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform custodial duties including vacuuming, cleaning, buffing, and maintaining floors.
  • Ensure all spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture, and dusting surfaces.
  • Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks, and showers.
  • Wipe mirrors and windows.The schedule
  • Ensure all areas are properly stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Carry out routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs.
  • Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to management promptly.
  • Provide assistance to guests as needed.

Guest Services Associate

Under the direct supervision of our Guest Services Supervisor, you will set up meeting spaces before guests arrive to the specifications set by the incoming group, ensure all spaces are clean, and may also assist in the setup, operation, installation, and troubleshooting of Audio/Visual equipment. This position will require a high level of physical labor and regularly lifting/moving to 75 pounds.

While guests are on grounds, our Guest Services Team is the main contact for the Leadership of each group to talk with regarding anything they may need or problems they may be experiencing. Our Guest Services Team professionally represents Lake Williamson and offers solutions in every situation. The ideal candidate will offer stellar guest service, provide pleasant hospitality experiences, and be energized by working in a Christian Team oriented environment. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to handle guest inquiries and concerns effectively.

This is a part-time position for 16-40 hours per week. Schedule will vary.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and set up meeting spaces for guests.
  • Actively listen to and resolve complaints.
  • Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, including financial transactions.
  • Set up, operate, install, and troubleshoot Audio/Visual equipment to ensure events run smoothly.
  • Work in all departments as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Skills:

Part-Time Summer Positions:

Part-time positions are 20-40 hours per week depending on the department and availability. Departments include food service, housekeeping, guest services, front desk, lifeguard, maintenance, and custodial. Day and night shifts available. Many part-time positions are available year-round.

Team Building & Zip Line Facilitator:

We are looking to expand our Eagle Crest Adventures Program and are looking to hire multiple Facilitators to join our Christian Oriented Team.

A facilitator will guide groups through various team building programs on low and high ropes courses, zip lines, and escape rooms. A facilitator is responsible for the physical and emotional safety of the group as they navigate through a program. We would expect a facilitator to create an experience that allows participants the opportunity to discover, learn, grow, and develop at their own pace. Facilitators frequently engage and communicate with individuals in religious organizations and must be able to lead and guide discussions in matters of Christian Faith.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age (or older).
  • Must be able to physically and emotionally work at varying heights.
  • Must be able to appropriately and clearly manage risk (physical and emotional) to participants.
  • Must be able to physically traverse the high course alongside participants.
  • Must have the ability to lead and challenge groups through direct and indirect methods.

Previous experience is not required, but employee must complete the ECA Facilitator training and follow all ECA standard operating procedures and protocols. This is a year-round part-time position with varied hours.

Because our programs are much busier in the Summer Months, this position is a great opportunity for College Students looking for work in the summer months or anyone employed in the School District looking for something to do while school is out.
